did you watch the same game as me? i was at goodison and alot of the time we didn't close the redshite down at all, just sat back

Yes I did watch it. you look back at the first 30 minutes - everton were closing down them all the time. It was this momentum that they took forward, had the crowd behind them cheering tackles and ultimately reward for.

2nd half yes they were not closing down anything like as quickly as they would have killed them selves doing it in the first half BUT they got the rewards and knew that Liverpool then had to really go for it being 2-0 down.

They are far from great but many clubs at the top have stuters like this its just because its the start of the season its really highlighted.
