So much better now, can you not take it to work and just accidentally turn onto the track one day and get lost?

Cheers John, i must admit i should have just painted it red from the start but i had abit of black paint so gave it a go!

The inside will be done body colour once ive removed the excess tar and done the welding for the cage etc.

Cheers mate

Just done an oil and filter change, so its nice and fresh!

Next on the list before Trax is to fit an oil catch tank for the breather. Get my temperature gauge working, i know what needs doing so shouldnt be a problem. Next week i should be getting the passenger bucket seat in. Then its ready for some abuse on track

A couple of updated pictures for you all. Both seats are finally in and sitting how I want them
Also fitted a new throttle cable as the other one was looking very sorry for itself!

Gave the car a clean up and its pretty much ready for Trax now. Since the pictures were taken i have painted the scabby silver breather pipe black like the stut brace, looks much better now imo.

Comments welcome as usual

As some of you have seen from what Badgersport posted I was at Santa Pod last weekend trying to lay down some decent times.

I used my free runs that i missed out on at PVS due to the rain, so it worked out to be a cheap and fun day out

I did my first run with my mate in the car so he could get a vid for me. I ran a 15.2181 which wasnt bad considering id never been up the strip before and i had 3 1/4s of a tank of fuel plus a passenger!
A little video from the run - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAwzObTZRQs

Next run i chucked my mate out and ran a 15.0297 sec run which i was pleased with, but i wanted to break into the 14s to be happy!

My 3rd and final run and i was determined to do it! I tried to get a good start with minimal wheel spin and some good gear changes, 14.9830 secs later i had it in the bag, just

Next on the list is to get out on track. I havnt purchaced track time at Trax but I may do on the day, if not i might do one track day before the end of the year.

A few pictures from the day at Santa Pod

The misses chillin out lol!

Cheers Darryl, probally will go quicker in the future. It has a super close ratio gear box and im hitting the limiter in 4th/changing to 5th at the finish line!! Will possibly change the box later on. The LSD helped alot tho!

Chris, combe looks like a good circuit. Probally gonna do Bedford Autodrome as its on my doorstep!
