So not only did you only check all the details were correct about the car after the auction ended, but you didn't check insurance either.
Amazing.

I'd like to know if you agree though?

i will get around 200 pound back if i cancel my current policy. that leaves me having to find the rest of the 1400 ish that i got quoted. flux are always miles ahead of anyone else for me.
I am not going to lose another years no claims by changing company like i did when i got the civic.

its your own fault then mate, not fair to let the buyer down though in fairness, if you have given deposit then least let him keep that for wasting his time or pay for his listing

civic cost about a grand to insure
swapped civic to yaris in dec and got 280 cash back
6 months now left to go on policy
tt 225 200 increase
astra sri 600 increase
new policy is at least a grand odd so cant afford that either

why dont you get the 200 quid refunded from your old policy and take out a new monthly policy on the astra? you dont have to pay it all in one sum then
