well well well some progress has been made.....
engine rebuild has been getting done by my mate, rings, shells, oil pump, water pump, timing belt kit couple bits.
had to modify the rod caps to fit the ARP bolts
u can see by the pic that ive had to ever so slightly chamfer the hole where the rod bolt goes through, (done one side not other )

also put my seats in that a got off mr sean p will do for a few months till i get some cash for the ones i want. camera on fone makes them look damaged there in better nick than they look. well get more pics once out of the garage

im hoping it will be on the road in a week or so, wont be finished but will be useable i think.

not loads at the min mate, cos it wont be getting run in on the aftermarket cams, i will be getting them dialed in once its all run in then mapped.

well heres a few more pics of the car..... lack of engine in this one
need to remove the rest of the sound proofing from under the bonnet then cut the battery bracket off.


heres the engine up on the stand getting the magic done on it




and a quick one of the p+p head next to the standard one, i slapped abit of hammerite on the p+p one

still got loads and loads of tiding of the wiring and dash and need to take the seats back out to finish painting the front foot wells.

what exhaust manifold is on it now bud and are you running a oil catch tank or just a filter on the end of the pipe?
