And that is why Apple have paid a reported 25 Million dollers for the first year to each of the major music labels.
I still don't quite get the music match.
If it does match your music - you can then download it on other devices - once you have done that, whats to stop you cancelling the subscription as you now have "legal" copies on one of your devices and then can share these using the normal syncing? Or does it mark the files as Music Matched files and now allow you to sync them back into the cloud at a later date.
I imagine Apple has some form of control over 'matched' music, otherwise as you say people would get it for a year and drop it. Saying that i don't see what the problem was with either syncing it via WiFi or using the usb cable.

Should of got an iPhone mate. I had a go on a HTC Desire today, seemed like a crappy version of an iPhone to me didn't seem as slick
, can you even multitask yet on the iphone 4?
Yes, in a way that doesn't eat your battery in 5 minutes.
Either way...can of worms.

Technically not true multitasking but hey ho.....

The main benefit of mulittasking is to be able to pick up exactly where you left off after exiting the app...which it does perfectly.
A secondary benefit would be that the app continues to run once exited which in 99% of cases would provide no benefit( ie. games) but would still drain battery.
If it could be implemented so that only apps that benefit from being 'live' once exited stay 'live' such as facebook/twitter that would be cool but would again drain battery and be pointless when you already get a notification if anything changes within said apps.

Not quite, if the app developer hasn't bothered to make their app task-switchable then it just re-starts. There are lots out there that don't save their state which is frustrating sometimes.

There is a background API for a few useful things. Again, the developer has to implement them and like you say, there's no need to keep an app fully running if they utilize the notifications system. And at least the notifications system has been updated to bring it up to date

I think the reminders app looks really good. Location based reminders is pretty smart

Saying that...I have been having a really annoying problem on my iPad, when clicking a youtube video in safari and it switches to the YouTube app, when you try to go back to safari via the multitasking tray after watching the vid it only shows the top 1 inch of the web page and the rest of the screen is white. You have to keep going backwards and forwards until I sorts itself out, anyone else have this problem?

Desire isn't a shocking phone at all, just old now as android phones go, still gives an iPhone a run for it's money and was/is quite a bit cheaper.

An LED indicator would be a massive plus, something I missed.
No chance that was bait Nismo, you're a bigger fanboy than Bart.

That'll be the next revolutionary feature. Though I did read a while back something about a glowing apple logo on the back
