The fact you wave your fist at them and the fact you ignored peoples advice on here go hand in hand really. Wether you've learnt from mistakes or whatever its a similar attitude to what's Luke is showing and it eventually trips you up. And indeed it did you and unfortunately for you ended up costing you thousands. I'm not to worried about a campaign to right lukes wrongs. It will eventually catch up with him. I'm talking about the attitude here more then the driving.

A good driver is someone that can gracefully accept decisions. A track isn't a public road with giveway signs and lane markings. Incidents aren't always clear cut and a good track attitude is about accepting decisions, learning from mistakes and generally seeing past the end of your nose. It will show in your driving aswell.

And that was what to do with this thread? That was me involved in that incident and just me, so what does that have to do with black flagging, undertaking, overtaking? Seems like you just wanted to drop it in there to have some sort of dig. I've been around that corner plenty of times since my accident with no drama at the same speed and it doesn't really phase me, shit happens it cost me money I deal with it. However when 1 and a half years on people still bring it up do you not agree that you might possibly get annoyed with it? People that weren't there, people who's car isn't even capable of the speed I was doing at that point?

You are telling me that you have been stuck behind cars going slower, and you haven't got frustrated at the fact they aren't moving out the way and marshalls are doing nothing about it? To be fair from memory I don't think you've done a full proper trackday so maybe you haven't come across this, but trust me it's very frustrating. I'm sure OJC can vouch for that.

I always gracefully accept decisions, except if I think they're wrong. I go to a trackday to push myself and my cars limits, if I exceed them and have a 'moment' or even come off, then I only have myself to blame and if you knew me then you'd know I really don't care, that's the way I want to drive as I have paid lots of money for the trackday, if that's not how you want to drive then that's fine, but track rules state that you should move out my way.

If this comes across as an 'attack' or blunt then so be it, cause that's how I view your statement. With 'all due respect' Steve you have done a few sessions on UK tracks and a few laps of the Ring, you are no track veteran, nor myself, nor anyone else on this site bar Fee I'd say. You come across as very 'know it all' but in reality you have very little track experience.

It's an out and out track bike, with no road kit what-so-ever. Absolutely nothing. No lights, no indicators, no mirrors, no numberplate -- nothing. Oh, and it's on semi-slicks.

We were originally going to collect it in a van, but that fell through but the previous owner of the bike agreed to deliver it on a trailer. Sorted.

However, that fell through too (his car broke down). We were stuck, and really didn't want to pay £150 for it to be collected.

I said I'd ride it. Bare in mind it has no MOT or tax, and I'm not insured. The bike isn't even registered as on the road yet.

It also has a very short steering lock -- the turn on it is literally 2cm either way.

We set off and the sat nav fucked up (I was following my mate in front), so I continued following him around tons of little roads (not fun with that steering lock). After a few (scary) minutes, we reached the motorway. Instantly I felt comfortable. I know the R6 would out run Police T5's as I had had previous encounters with them before. I had a little play and the lightened front end made it lift effortlessly compared to a road R6. I guess the headlights, clocks and standard fairings really make a big different. I thought it'd be rude not to knock it into 3rd whilst on one-wheel, so I did, and then got carried away and went through the entire box.

It was all shits-and-giggles until I saw a Police car, but fortunately it was only a Skoda so I had a little play with him too. I hand-signalled over onto the hard shoulder and slowed down to 20mph before lifting the front again and repeating the current event. I couldn't see him after I landed.

I love the bike -- it really is a much better bike than a carb'd R6. The gearbox has been fixed and it's incredibly hard to find neutral (which is perfect). It pulls like a train and the induction kit roars like a fookin' dinosaur. I felt invincible. 8)

It was all going perfect until it randomly chucked it down. I got soaked within seconds and I got very worried about riding on semi-slicks as I still had 5 miles to my house once I left the motorway. I cained it from then on hoping to beat the rain but it was still very heavy when I left the motorway. On the very first corner I knew I was going to have trouble, as the front end randomly started sliding but thankfully a quick stamp of the Alpinestars boots managed to keep it up right.

I got up to a roundabout and carefully went round it and took the last exit just as a Police car was coming round the other way. Instantly the lights come on and he took the roundabout a lot quicker than I could. I opened it up in 1st and it span up effortlessly. Into 2nd and it continued spinning (throughout the entire rev range). Same with 3rd. I thought I was going to be fine in 4th, but no -- it continued to spin the entire way through 4th too, but thankfully 5th was OK.

The pig was long gone by now, and I only had 3 roundabouts left until I was home. I took them all very carefully, and even then the rear was extremely tail happy. I think I was loosing traction more than actually having traction after I left the motorway. :?

Next we came up to a speed camera. I felt obliged to set it off due to no number plate, so tried clutching it up in 2nd but it just span, so I kept the throttle planted, leant over the tank, and went through the camera at 80mph... SIDEWAYS.

Pretty boring after that. Carefully rode it down my back roads and took it up my garden path and into the back garden.

I'm still buzzing.

exactly, i think every track master/keyboard warrior/random moaning cunt needs to remember that he NEARLY got black flagged. so clearly before you lot come along with your divine wisdom, telling people what they deserve etc, something happened that we dont know about which made the overtake not a dangerous move?

as for the attention whore? damn right he is! personally i cant blame him! if everytime i posted up vid or a few pictures it set the boards alight with people moaning id do it every day i could. id go out of my way to find things to piss people off. the fact you lot are stupid enough to keep "feeding the troll" as it were is your choice. clearly have nothing better to do tbh.

and i thought this was a car forum, seems like a bunch of bitches bitching tbh.

i dont know much about track days etc and track rules but im pretty sure when a car indicates right that means "im slowing to let you past" wonder if he realises that people take cars on track days to enjoy themselves and drive them properly and though lets let these gormless internet warriors pass me to avoid them possible smashing into me due to driving like a massive cock, i could only watch it for a little while no offence to anyone else on here but his accent makes me want to punch him

I posted it on PH to see if anyone would see anything as a mutual opinion, but no CS bods have to go and continue it on there. Blatantly worried that they won't say a thing...

No one has mentioned wreckless driving so far on the video by the way, but I'm sure it'll happen soon...

From PH :

Haha, the video is great.

You can see everyone else driving according to them.

"oh, here come the muppets in the Fabia again, best just let them past before they cause an accident I don't want to be in"

It's funny unless you know that they haven't seen me before as it's the first few laps...
