This forum is soooooooooooooooooooo 98 though, seriosly needs to get up to scratch. Look at VXR online, if it was a simple version of that
65 sub forums (had to count twice as i thought i mustve added 30 somewhere ) no thanks. more places should be like here

yeah i'd agree with this, came in, took some flak for being quite new and being a mod but still spoke his mind and never talked as if he was in charge of us.
saying that, i'm probably one of the people who made him leave with my constant shit posts

Sub section certainly required for non corsa related car chat. Im not talking a section for every different marque just one, With the rest of the forum purely corsa.

Spoke to Will on the phone just now, going to have a proper meeting and throw some different options about.
He doesn't love subforums but he bought my idea that we should cater for B, C and D independently pursuant to strengthening the presence for newer cars.
Bit of trivia for you, CS has 59 rows in the forums table from a total of 73 unique entries, so it's not that CS doesn't have them, just that they're more wisely distributed.
I completely agree if you go to a forum and you're greeted with a mass of choices that is too much. But I also think categorisation is a good thing.
We have a compromise in Classifieds where the parent forum syndicates threads from the subs, and usage data indicates that roughly half of people use the parent and half use the sub.
Whatever happens I'll not do anything that I don't think is for the best or against the majority of opinion.

So then? When do the likes of me, Nath, Mwg, Seth, barnshaw, Jake, 3CorsaMeal, Paul_J, John, Hammer, john-d, Nismo, Steve, Russ, Adiohead, Jambo, etc etc expect to get banned?
You take that lot away you have a dead CS

Don't add subforums.
I agree maybe about Corsa B, C, D subforums but why not add Corsa A to that list? I think you have enough of a following on here to warrant it and you could seriously be onto a winner. Novaload/PNG is the only Nova site at the moment.

I was actually thinking about that last night. You mentioned Corsa Chat or B, C and D forums, how about having Corsa chat like Classifieds with B, C and D sub forums so you can browse it all or individually?

Nice news that. Sounds like you're focused.
With regard to search engine rankings - I only found Corsa Sport because I needed help with my 12v and posted in the Help Zone!

Combination of a few things, most of which I'm looking to sort. We did deliberately deny traffic in the past to try and reduce spam which on balance was probably a compromise too far.
Few issues with the page construction which I'm going to fix up when I've spent more time with PP and seen how that does so well.
That's an area of work for us.

I've never noticed the recent threads button before Always used to use that on quieter sites I visited.
Mike's idea of a General Chat in Classifieds style sounds pretty good to me.
I visited http://www.talkford.com/ once to look at something for Mondeos and didn't know where to begin I'm not even going to try and count the sub-forums there as I'd die before finishing.
Edit - if the url to this one is any indication then they need to get some serious merging going http://www.talkford.com/forum/852-electrical-ka-mk2/ So yeah, as long as we don't end up with 850 sub-forums then all will be good
