I still meet up with them every Christmas, give or take one or two who left at the end of school and didn't stay on for sixth form, lads at my school fell into two categories:

1) LADs - sat chanting football songs at lunch time and were in the football team

2) Geeks - sat and read books at lunchtime and were in the chess or debating squad

I didn't fit in with them, girls were more fun so hung around with them for the majority of school/sixth form

Before sixth form when a few half decent lads were still there, we'd bunk off and make bombs at our mate's house. I was the only one who stayed on into sixth form

At uni all the lads on my course were utter knobheads so I hung around with 3 girls most of the time. 2 of the 3 were really hot too so the other lads were jealous as fuck tbh.

I had a GF so wasn't trying it on constantly like most of the others.

im pretty much in richs category... most of my friends were/are female, did have a good group of male mates however never went on holidays with them/intended to, didnt/dont see the point in spending money to go and spend a week watching them get hammered .

oh and for the record i dont bat for the other team despite many people thinking i did/do

This is fact.

Why folk wouldnt want to go a holiday with their mates is beyond me. Did folk just go with their parents till they are in their 20s or go with girlfriends?

I'd give anything to go back to 17 and do it all over again, the stuff that happens and you get upto on lads holdays when you are young are outstanding!
