Yes, depreciation is specific to make/model/variant and term/mileage. Plenty of other considerations too like volume in market place and front end discount. Vauxhall is a good example of front end discount - I have seen upwards of 30% off list on some products, which will ultimately impact future value.

VW is the 'premium' brand in a mainstream badge environment. Ford, Vauxhall, Renault etc all aspire to be as good as their offering and will command a premium over an equivilant competitor.

I'm talking lease as is you get a quoye for leasing a car over X years and that is what you pay per month for those X years.

1 year is more expensive as the new car loses the largest % amount in that year
2 year cheaper but still expensive
3+ more reasonable but starts getting to the point where you'll want a new car anyway..

2 year is the best option I think, but normally costly.

I guess 98% of "flash" cars are leased/rented as to have that amount of money tied up in one is daft. I buy my cars cash, but most ive ever spent was 15k, im just not a fan of not fully owning something, but thats just me, so i say go for it, its only for 2 years, not the rest of your life...

Leasing no different to having a mortgage on a house but you don't see people saying they don't 'Own' there house do you?

Just lie who the hell would ever know or question it?! Ps change the plates because it will have a gay rental

Wouldn't tell the postman it's only on hire that's for sure!

It's not that dear when you take into account a new model 2012 3 series spec'd with a few luxuries is over 40k.
