engine came with an f20 so will use that for time being until I can source a decent F28. there not easy to find

Yeah had that one a few years ago, spent way too much ££££ on it. hence this is going to be done on a budget sort of

Well not a small budget, but a darn site cheaper than that one

Just had a baileys dumpvalve and joiner turn up


Looks ideal and loved the sound on my old let corsa, however... It appears to be missing one of the screws from the top? Will this cause it to leak boost?

I stripped mine down and re-greased it, greased it a bit too much though . Grease has splattered everywhere but it's fine now. As for the bolt, where else stocks loads of random useless shit??? eBay! Not sure on the size though, measure one of the others.

where do the oil pipes go on the let?

My turbo is off at the minute and cant figure where the braided one joins to

From the back of the oil pump, it goes round the block and to the top of the turbo. Would be pretty stupid having the return pipe go to the top of the turbo 'eh?

I know it goes from the turbo, but only looked quickly and couldnt see where on the block it joined

Also replace the vacuum fitting for the dump valve whilst you're at it.
