4th for Spuds at this rate.
maybe 5th if chelsea start scraping wins
Ironic our downturn all started when Capello walked out and the press have jumped on Arry's back, nothing like making the team feel good!
yep, the newcastle win was probably motivated by the players wanting him to stay now the england job is still lingering, i cant help but think he wants to be sacked to get compo then take the england job

That said Walcott did setup both goals and a few other very very good chances.
Roicky looks good as hes finally getting played in his preferred CAM position instea dof on the wing... said it for years that he and Arshavin were wasted there and thats wohat made them look poor - neithe rof them are wingers!

Interestign game last night, not the best and though the stats show us battering them, it wasnt really the case... lots of shots but only maybe 5 clear cut chances )of which we wasted 4!) but lord above the noise and atmosphere after the goal went inw as phenomenal!
Tim Krul was beign an arse startign wastign time from midway through the first half but i hate when the fans get on oppo gks backs as it just makes them do it even more!!! That said, Krul was taking the piss and is single handedly to blame for the added time... him and tiote rollign around every 5 misn without beign touched was harsh on newc to lose it like that as they did defend well (albeit without offering anything up front - ba did not toucj the ball once in our box insofar as i could see) and its pretty Krul to lose to a last minute scrambled goal like that, coudl see how gutted their players were but theyll take 6th IMO the way thigns are going. good fans too,a ltho felt for them as there werent many of them due to the change of time and date, harsh frm the fa.
anothe rlast min winner and another come from behind (ish) - spuds will really be feelign the pressure now. we have everton awat and villa at home next weds and sat but the weekend off this week which will hoepfully help us
ps ben arfas goal was class, left gibbs and chesney for dead

Majority of time he did any 'time wasting' the ball was in play so time shouldn't have been added. Commentators couldn't understand why the Arsenal fans were getting their knickers in a twist since the time spent from dead balls was fairly normal.

That smile was reserved for when that shambles of a club West Ham were finally relegated

I don't think Krul wasted that much time in the whole game.
It was the "come and get close to me before I will pick up the ball" in the 1st half that frustrated people. OK in the last few minutes everyone expects it but to do it that early on was just silly.
The extra time was due to all the times the trainers were on the pitch, top of my head, head clash easy 30 seconds, someone fell badly (can't remember who) 30 seconds, that with the 2:30 for subs 5 minutes is easy to find.
