335d's cost big bucks to fix when they go wrong. Dont think I would buy one without paying out for a warranty if I am honest so buying one at the top of your budget with no contingency would be a bit foolish IMO

Check e90 post for info very good site need to go to the UK section though

This would be a typical project thread if someone on CS bought one

Week 1:Bought a 335D

Week 2:Fitted special black kidney grills and painted the wheels not anything but silver

Week3:Got a remap and beat a scooby

Week4:Can't afford proper tyres so bought replica wheels with 2nd hand tyres

Week5:Something has broken and i can't afford to fix it properly

Week6: Bmw 335d for sale

It's funny when people do project threads about their standard cars but I don't see the problem with that in general.

Should be nothing wrong with buying a nice new(er) car and leaving it alone?

This is the worse 335D thread ever.

Anyone serious about 335D vs 335i vs E46 M3 vs E92 M3 then there are loads on PH.

I am currently weighing up the E46 M3 vs 335i option as possible next car. Probably the former as I wil be city centre living soon, so weekend car only.

I was having a look at these last night and it seems like you need to spend £16k to get one that's under 80k miles
