So where is the extra £42k coming from??
Does his kid walk about in its birthday suit all day, shitting and pishing where it walks?? Does he not buy it new clothes and treats etc??

Take me for example. I have had a fucking loads of cars, I get bored quickly and fanciy something else after I did the basic "lowered, alloys, exhaust etc" wasting thousands of £££ on the way.
I'm now saying that come insurance renewal time (April) I will sell the ///M3 and get either a 911 like toms, a c3 Corvette, an escort cosworth or a 3 door sierra cosworth.
I rarely uses the ///M3 as I simply doesn't need a car. Its nothing to do with servicing etc as I just did insp 2.
Does anyone else think selling the car and keeping the cash is a better idea?

Can't believe this made 6 pages tbh.
If you don't want to modify or spend money on your car anymore, then sell it and buy something boring, simple.
I think 90% of people who don't modify cars lead very mundane and boring as fuck lives, but that's just my opinion and from personal experience.

Can kind of summarise with 'each to their own'.

Indeed, cars is one of them funny interests and hobbies, as most people have them to do a job etc, its more of a requirement with a bit of personal interest afterwards rather than a proper hobby or belief which influences your car choice.
Its like trainers, we all need them, most people just like some there and then so they buy them, its not the end of world if you want to replace them. But don't buy them, then start making out how great they are when you full well known you will replace them with so called better ones and then you wouldn't be seen dead in the old ones.
A ford focus or astra is basically a nike air max

Not really plenty telephone engineers earn £40k per year with some overtime. Nurses are on £20k. I did not say he was on that now, I said they will have a joint income like that in a few years

The best way to buy a new performance car is the way Jimmy Bennett had that Impreza P1.
Cheapest way

How can someone who doesnt mod a car effect your 'experience'?
Also there are plenty of people who waste their money on modding cars they have no money left to waste on going out etc. Boring as fuck as well.

In my experience, people who don't modify cars, generally lead very boring lives with no real hobbies. Notice I said 90% because there are a couple who actually do very cool stuff like skydiving instead. I speak alot for the older generation aswell, particularly people at work, do nothing but talk about how I'm wasting time or money on my car, yet in the same sentence do nothing but moan about their lives at home or how they haven't done anything all week...
And I agree with that last sentence aswell, modifying beyond your budget is stupid. It's a hobby, it's not worth skinting yourself over.

So if you don't go skydiving or modify your car you are mundane and have no life
