Yeah fair, I'm only going on what the chairman says. But he's right, why sell him for £10, if we could get £100m on top of that when he helps us get promoted. I've no doubt what so ever that he'll go in the summer, maybe even if we get promoted. But unless Arsenal step back into the ring he'll be going no where, of that I trust him 100%.

Or you could not get promotion, he/his agent gets in a sulk, prem clubs know he wants out and can bully you into selling for what they dictate because he'll just leave for free otherwise.

Also true. His agent is his brother so not a proper working relationship like a "normal" agent but I hear what you're saying. He'll only leave on a free in four and half years time so theres no worry in that respect just now.

PS contract was signed for the sole purposes of maximising the fee to repay Palace for their faith in him and bringing him through to the player he is today, nothing to do with staying

They stifle each other, its one or the other IMO. When Cisse came last year and started banging them in, Ba stopped scoring and now they have swapped. Too similar I suspect, Loic Remy would be a good replacement IMO or Kevin Gameiro who's out of favour at PSG
