Iv just fitted to mine bud but having a few problems.
First one is the order the top mount assembly as people are telling me i should be using the bearing out of the top mount cup from my old suspension but im finding that when trying to do up the top nylon lock nuck it doesn't come through far enough to lock it safety so have had to leave it off for now.
And the rear coilovers the springs seem creaky so have had to turn the dampening up to reduce it.
Have you had any of these problems?

This is head scratching for me to be honest because I've had no problems at all with my coilovers. I had to make some minor adjustments at the rear for clearance and change the tyres on the speedlines for clearance also but other than that my suspension is 100%

I had to tap one inner arch in a little for clearance and thats fine now but they creak terribly when below 5 clicks on the dampening
I have put a post up in the help zone section to try find some answers.
You don't have any pictures of how your top mounts are fitted do you?

Doing the trip over for Billing?
Picked her up this evening and god it was great having a spin in it. She never missed a beat..
On the down side the rear coilover on the left hand side has a knocking noise/knocking when I turn right but when I turn left there's no noise what so ever, very strange. Anyways had a look at there is minimum clearance so I suggested that might explain there noise.
Any suggestions?

Is it fully tightened up at the top? Could it be loose and knocking up and down when you turn?

Really lost for words at the min. It's head scratching. I'm getting the car back tomorrow from the body shop them dropping it back of to the mechanic to sort this suspension issue out.. I've had Nick J from PNG with a solution of the problem because he had the exact same thing happen him when he had the gaz coilovers. He told me to check the top Colette first of to see if it's making the noise and if so to shave a few mm off from were it's contacting to the body.. Hopefully that will sort the problem out, fingers crossed...

orite Nath, love this car, it's an absolute stunner. Never seen a GSI/GTE in person but this looks class on the pics. The suspension issue i've had myself the exact same and it's normaly turned out to be a loose bearing as Ian pointed out. Tighten it right up from inside the bay and see if that cures it.

Well guys.. Put the Nova in for its MOT on Wednesday but unfortunately it failed on having no seat belt stacks in the rear, ball bag here forgot to put them back in .. Anyways have her booked back in for the re-test and back home waiting.. Whilst I sat at home board I sent it away to get lowered. Got it back yesterday and very pleased with the ride height and how well she handles but haven't got round to putting the speedlines back on due to being busy. Less of the hashing on here's some pics..
Needs a good damn polish..
Comments welcome..

So with a few more tweeks with the suspension the Nova is complete, thank f***
As said on a previous post she failed the MOT on having no seat belt stacks in the rear seat so I managed to source a set at the weekend and fitted them earlier this evening..
Whilst I was at it I put the speedlines back on, slicked the tyres up and gave it a good polish and wax..
Going to lower the rear another few mm, sitting to high for my liking..
Anyways comments welcome..
