Freaky. Dan@MAD footrest right? I fitted exactly the same to mine today (only turned up today dispite being bought well before xmas) plus one to my mates 182.

How happy were you with the finish? I know its going to get wrecked being there, but was a bit disapointed with it tbh.

A bit disappointed, was a few marks on it already but I suppose as you said it's going to end up marked anyway and you can't see them from the drivers seat

Much the same as mine then, I ordered two, and one was a lot more scratched than the other where they had been rubbing up against each other in the post.

I'm gonna PM him/ebay message him, as its just not right imo.

They look a bit chav imo. Had metal pedals in my old st rep fiesta and my feet kept slipping. Much prefer plastic pedals now.

Can't say I've had an issue with metal pedals on any of my cars on which they were factory fit. Did the fiesta ones not have wee rubber dots on them?

I've only ever had foot slip maybe once or twice, had the same on rubber pedalled cars too.

As you can see the exhaust has cracked where it enters the rear silencer, ironically the plate that is meant to strengthen the pipe has also come off. Luckily the garage I went to knows someone who can weld stainless steel and are charging me £15 for having it welded up.

I also need to get my centre section sorted as it seems to put my cat at a funny angle and I think it is causing it to blow slightly from the cat/manifold joint

Aux Setup by Simon_89, on Flickr

Got a few things for Xmas to allow me to listen to my iPhone a bit easier in the car, this cable utilises an aux cable and charger into a dock.

I removed the cigarette lighter, covered any exposed metal on it to prevent any possible short circuits. I then fed the cables through the hole, rerouted the original aux cable down behind the head unit and to the area beneath the cup holders. Using a twin female audio connector I simply joined the wires up that attach from the aux cable that plugs into the back of the head unit and the aux cable from the iPhone dock and hey presto an audio solution that charges and plays music whilst not having cables all over the place

First up was to sort out the gear stick, the cover was really heavily marked and looked a mess

Untitled by Simon_89, on Flickr

So I popped onto eBay and for a couple of quid I just got myself a normal Clio one, goes with my black dash strips

Untitled by Simon_89, on Flickr

Also decided to give my seatbelts a clean yesterday after seeing a couple of people on here managing to get them silver again, unfortunately I didn't manage to get after photos as it was getting dark but you can see how bad the drivers one was

Got a couple of more things I need to update on but haven't had time to get photos of them yet.

Just used washing up powder with hot water, let them soak for 15mins and then used a nail brush to scrub the hell out of them.

Will get a clean photo showing the difference tonight

Clean Belts by Simon_89, on Flickr

Probably not the best photo but you can see that the difference now is minimal compared to above. Both were the drivers side which was the worst

Did Blyton Park yesterday, isn't quite as intimidating as Cadwell Park and is also suited quite well for the smaller cars like Clios.

and finally...one to add to the collection
