Obviously I don't know the ins and outs of your mates situation but from first hand experience on several occasions and two different cars I have to say my experience was the complete opposite

I have been to hq before and couldnt fault them tbh. they were a tad on the expensive side but ive never heard a bad word about the workmanship. was really just wondering if sitech were any good as if not I would go to hq.
just looking for a map for the astra.

Sitech are Revo dealers now so mapping would be simple enough I'd imagine.

The project might be over before it's even started

When I test drove it the steering wheel was right against my knees, the seat was pretty sticky to adjust but the rear went down and I thought the front was just needing a good clean up to free it. It turns out the front is a fixed height I have ordered a new momo race 300mm steering wheel with matching boss so I hope this solves the issue. I'm not taking the seats out as its got the rare full factory leather.

I'm only 6ft. I thought the seat would be able to adjust at the front but it's fixed

Could you not 'adapt' the front of the Seat Subframe to get it lower?

Had to do that with my Corsa after fitting Buckets, managed to redrill the mounting points on the brackets for the seat which dropped it a little...

That'll be next on the list if my new wheel doesn't work.

Speaking of which, this turned up today

I still can't get to grips with the leather tho so its up for sale. I've never been a fan of leather in any car tbh.

Gave the golf a wee clean up and removed the plate to clean behind it. Think I'm gonna try my luck and run without it tho as it like a lot better

It's a manual mate. The mk2 Cupra wasn't available with DSG. The mk3 Cupra has tho.
