My battery has improved dramatically from the beta(which saw no change really) to the public release.
Don't restore from backup, always set up as a new phone then import all your stuff.
I noticed this, along with speed improvements.
The Beta for me was very sluggish, I was very impressed with the final version.

Still on 43% after a full days fairly heavy use, usually on single figures by now.

Ok how do I do that lol???
Plug phone into iTunes, sync and do a backup, restore phone, when it's finished choose setup as new phone, get it all setup then sync it with iTunes to get your stuff back. Plenty of guides about.

Tried a full restore? Most people are reporting no impact on battery life and in some cases better life so something definitely not right.
The Mrs has the same thing on her 4s. Barely used it and it rinsed the battery in 3 hours .

Nope; fixes a bug with the fingerprint sensor. It's only available to the 5C (apparently there are other fixes for the 5C) and 5S.

My battery life has been much better for general use, came home with over 50% yesterday which is unheard of.

I don't see how that's harder to fix than any other bug?

Im still on 7.0 with my 5s.
My sister has an issue with her 5s on 7.01 where it keeps asking for her pin code after everytime she unlocks it with touchId.
I haven't researched into whether that's a new bug, but its working fine in 7.0 for me so i'll be holding off.
Annoyingly Apple didn't bother to add any descriptive release notes with 7.01

Anyone got iOS 7 on an iPhone 4S? Mine has seen quite a drop in performance since I installed it, is there anything that I can switch off to improve it?

My 4 performs as smoothly as ever.
Did you do a restore or an update? Try restoring, if you haven't already.
Edited to sound less like a foreigner.

Didn't restore, but a Google search suggested the same thing. I'll do that when I get a chance.

I find mine quicker with iOS7.
Used the 'Block Caller' feature this morning, been needing that for a while!

My 4S is a lot faster with iOS7, it was starting to get slow on the previous OS version. Not going to bother upgrading to a newer iPhone now as doesn't seem a lot of point now it's running fast again.

Don't know if this has been mentioned already or noticed by anyone but when the phone is locked and you are playing music, unlike previous versions you can't skip tracks without first unlocking the phone. Previously used to just tap the home button until controls for the iPod came up. They do still come up when you double tap home button, just when you press them nothing happens.
