Different parameters, though. Personally if I was as gifted as them, I'd want to play in England, Spain and Italy, but Barcelona gave Messi and his family so much, they saved the kids life in a way, all the medical expenses etc we all know the story, but he has such loyalty to the club for non footballing reasons. He owes them everything really.
