I have a Scorpion 6x4 and I think it's too big. 5x3 would be ideal I think. 4x3 might look a bit squashed.

Thanks.
Tom, did you throw away your Vectra's boot badge? Could you measure it for me if you still have it?

Had a go at restoring my headlights.
I don't have a drill attachment nor do I own a rotary polisher. All I have is my hands so after seeing a 3M vid I thought I would give it a shot. I plan on upgrading these lights to the Astra factory Xenon "Shark Eye" headlamps soon so if it buggers up no biggie.
So got my kit:
400,600,800,1200,2500
Here are the headlamps, as you can see they are pretty nasty!!
So I masked up and started sanding:
I then used G3, Tcut and then ScratchX to rub them off.
After than I lobbed some Megs wax over it.
Needless to say it still looks pretty much exactly the same But at least it is a slight improvement
Guess you need a drill bit and better materials. No bother, these will be binned shortly any way.

I found using a Drill attachment yielded much, much better results than when I tried doing it by hand.
Was worth a go anyway!

I assumed as much DJ. Probably needed a better compound also, I did have a bottle of Plast-X but no idea where it has gone.
Reason I didn't get the 3M kit, nor a drill attachment was because new ones are so cheap. So wasn't too fussed.

Since I haven't cleaned it since I purchased it I thought I really should at least show it a bucket
My god its filthy It looks clean, but even then its still covered. Think I need to dunk it in G101 or that truck degreaser for about an hour and scrub it with a brillow pad. Honestly its fucking honking.
First real good look at the body work and its not good
* Front bumper dodgy repair, bad paint
* Doors have hundreds, literally hundreds of marks
* Rear bumper is mishapen and has had dodgy repair
* Damage & rust from spoiler falling off
* Skirts are bulging? Presumably from mum and dirt.. I have heard this is common.
So it needs some serious TLC. Currently not sure I am that arsed, I honestly really really like this car but I don't want it to be a pit.
So looking out for some bits, silver lightning bumper rear, bootlid, spoiler and gsi front. Plenty about, most north of Newcastle and nobody seems to want to ever post anything. Which is a shame. Missed out on a bootlid for £20 and a rear bumper for £30. CSAutos have one, total boot and spoiler but including postage is nearly £100. Big diff from £20!
Here are some terrible iPhone pictures.
Spoiler had clearly been repaired which James said it had, then when it came off again it took some paint with it
In the wild...
