I thought ale was the beverage of choice for the hip and trendy Northerner.

Typical hipster reply. All you need now is an undercut and a beard that resembles pubes.

Which is why i'm confused a man like Barnes is drinking 'flavoured' (i'm assuming he means sugary shite like kopparberg and rekorderlig et al) ciders.
You can't beat a good local ale though

Yeah I like a mixed fruit cider on a hot day mate. Nothing wrong with it.
Usually drink Cumbrian brewed ale, but cider is quite refreshing in the heat.
Opinions tbh

Ale is for girls (unless it's IPA or LPA).
Men drink stout.

Rekorderlig strawberry & lime is a wicked summer drop. A proper driving cider.

I was at a friends house, started about 8pm then some more friends turned up around 11. Neighbours didn't care, was even speaking to them for a bit over the fence. Don't see issue really, it's Friday night and in the summer.

Although saying that, was a family gathering at my house last night in the garden. Probably around 30/40 people, nobody cared then either and that went on pretty late too.

Yeah but no one works in Dagenham so they don't have to get up early for work.

I think it's acceptable on a Friday night to be up late making some noise though.

Jobs that pay about £30 an hour Saturdays and £40 Sundays make it worthwhile.
