EGR is blanked off as well mate yeah.
I think I've got an MOT sorted now though Its booked it for next Saturday morning at a different garage so its going to be very tight for getting it taxed, cleaned etc but at least I've got a good chance of getting it to pvs now

Yeah the mot's not till next weekend Fingers crossed if it passes on saturday it'll be able to make pvs on sunday. Finger crossed!
Got a little update to post. Thought I'd get some nice shiny bits for the engine bay I bought some bonnet lifters, chrome battery cover, and a chrome strut brace.
The strut brace and battery cover have just been plonked on for a quick photo. I was going to fit them but its started raining
Finishes the bay off nicely I thought I'm not very impressed with the bonnet lifters though. They are a crap fit to be honest and the P/S one makes the bonnet sit slightly higher than it should. They look great with the bonnet up so I'll leave them on for PVS but I can see them coming off after.
I also took the GSI bumper back off yesterday to refit the fogs, grill and brand new splitter. I wasnt going to do this until after the mot but seeing as its not going to be done until the day before pvs I doubt I'd have time if I did it then. Legal plates on for the MOT as well.
Finally a couple of pics of how it stands, sat on the drive waiting to be driven. Its torture having it there knowing I can't drive it
The plans for next week are:
- Fit strut brace and battery cover properly
- Fit oil catch tank
- Touch up engine bay paintwork where needed
- Tidy up the wiring etc
- Spray my oil dip stick handle matt black
- Respray wiper arms
- Refit my -100mm rear springs
- Get it taxed
- Give it the mother of all cleans
- Enjoy a nice drive to pvs on sunday morning

Delay mot is a good thing keep it as sparkly as possible! No chance of our finest British weather turning the ground to mud and just ruining the bay

Really hope it passes mate!
If you do go pvs, you know what would be a great idea..put an old photo of when you first got the car or something so people can see how much its changed and how much bloody work youve done!

I really hope the MOT goes to plan as well. I'll be seriously gutted if I can't take it. Should be alright though
