I'd rather Germany won, but at the same time I'd like to hear what the Messi haters would say if he had won the WC

Thought Mascherano was incredible tonight and I thought Perez looked a player as well.
Final will be closer than a lot of people think, people forgetting Ghana tore the German defence apart in the same tournament just because Brazil were shit.

Is he now a tactical moron? I hope so, couldn't cope with any more bollocks from Man United armchair fans.

With his number 1 having never saved a penalty in his entire career, I would have brought Krul on too The point made with that showing on the last two pens

The Messi argument is the main reason I want the Argies to win it

How many penalties has he been against? Krul had only saved 2 in 20 so not exactly a great record either.

Personally want the Germans to win (followed them for years since I lived there for 3 years when younger) but even ignoring that they have put a number of performances in this tournament so i think deserve the win.

I think I've decided I want Germany to win just because nobody with hair as ridiculous as Palacio should be allowed to lift the world cup

Reluctantly want the Germans to win, not convinced about the hype though, one freak result against a team that imploded, apart from that the Germans have struggled at times, against relatively weak opposition.

Except they thrashed Portugal. It seems the "big" nations are playing directly in to their hands. This Argentina team have been fairly solid though, and they've finally got an established defence. If Di Maria is back, and Aguero seems to have proved his fitness, they could have a lot of pace against that very slow German side.

Cannot for the life of me find the stat, but he's at least 0 in 5

Stat for last season was on ITV last night, it wasn't a kick in the arse off 20. 16 possibly but all the penalties were broken down into which competition he faced them in.

If that was England, not Brazil, every England fan in the stadium would be boo'ing them.
Amazing spirit and attitude, those Brazilian fans have.
