id be very suprised if he knew how to open a bonnet held on with bonnet pins. let alone understand that the dipstick refers to what it is and not him when he is driving.

type aerocatch into ebay. in the results there are lockable ones aswell as normal ones. thats what im going to get for my bonnet instead.

hope it works out in the end mate, still cant beleive someone could stoop that low!

its easy for all these folk to day dont give up but the amount of work gone into the car for it to be ruined just like that must be heart breaking

i cant believe what ive just read over the last 4 pages! What a bunch of jealous pricks to do something as cowardly as that!I really do hope you get it sorted and it lives on nic,ive followed this thread from the beginning and it would be a massive shame to let them fuck it up for you and everyone whos helped you.Good luck and i hope i can soon read something positive thats come out of the stupididy and pure knobishness of some people.

well oil pump ordered. be here tomorrow. evening of fixing or attempting to fix it on thursday. will change the oil again saturday evening after doing some miles and hopefully it will go well.

doing a bit of this lately

aye cheers though, couldnt think of anyone else to ask. got it in the end though. tbh, oil pump from autovaux is what i went for. althoug regals steel geared and nylon release valve one for 195 quid was tempting
