If i can buy that from a shop, thats fine, i'll keep an eye out. cheers fella.
You can get cooked chicken pieces from supermarkets with various flavours on it. Not as good for you as doing them yourself but certainly better than crisps and the such.

No, they sell packets of it.
Plus you could always get a salad and then some cut meat from the deli counter.

remember someone mentioning l-glutamine tablets earlier in this thread.
are they essential?
i've got some super strength cod liver oil tablets and some decent multivitamins from holland and barrets but wondering whether i should take anything else?
i usually suffer with joint pains so does l-glutamine help fight this at all?

As for supplements, it only really suggests a protein shake, protein bars (I dont have them), and a recovery drink. All of which are talked about in this thread.
On top of that people are also having multivitamins, omega3 fish oils, and Im also including L-Glutamine as have seen it recommended a lot.
just found it
my cod liver oil tablets say ''rich in omega 3'' on them so guess they would be just as good to use? they were more expensive than the omega 3 fish oil tablets anyway. 240mg each tablet.
got a protein drink. i have a protein shake as a before and recovery drink after the workout, is this correct?
just the l-glutamine then i suppose, don't fancy any of these no xplode type things.

Glutamine aids in muscle recovery. Its not essential but Ive seen it mentioned in loads of places about being excellent.
I got the tablets initially, but then bought the powder and mix it up in my shakes.

Glutamine before bed and first thing in the morning massively boosts growth hormone in the body as well.

As of today i'm changing my diet, i'm planning to start training jan 1st. Is it worth changing to a low carb, high protien diet a month before? Im going to start to do press ups, sit ups and pull ups each day, when i can fit them in.
So far today...
Fresh fruit with natural yoghurt. Scrambled eggs on 1 slice of brown toast. Orange juice.
170g cooked chicken, box of salad, 3 bean salad, apple juice, water, 2 bananas.
Not sure where we're eating later, still be working at 6pm.
Anything i should add or remove from that? Im not clued up on nutritional content. Ta.

Yeah its worth doing it now as will get you in to the swing of things for when you start this, plus you'll see some weight loss no doubt going off what you said your previous diet was.
BTW- My sample of that pre-workout shake came today, going to give it a go before chest, shoulder and tri tonight.

Right, just had the Extreme Nox Pump.
It is, without a doubt, the worst liquid I have ever put in my mouth (-10 e-points for anyone who posts the obvious joke).
It better be fucking amazing, as after tasting like that Im not inclined to buy it.
