Looks like he's ready for our season going by the above. I know we have a lot of forwards now, but if this story about loaning him out is true, why on earth did we sign him when the likes of Villa and Everton would have snapped him up! As has been said above, in to final year of contract, makes no sense what so ever.

You never know, judging by the cuts Capello is making, he may play for England next week!

Jon Walters is also going to Stoke but this depends on Aiden McGreadys move to Russia as Celtic see Liam Lawrence as his replacement.

Also SSN are reporting that Cesc hasn't turned up with the rest of the squad at a fans day at the Emirates.

Seems like Stoke are willing to offer £10m up front which neither West Ham or Liverpool would do, if Liverpool were ever in for him at all, and it wasn't just his agent talking it up.

On the plus side if Stoke get Remy, looks like Cole will be staying, and he's done well in pre-season

We bid more than you, but he wanted to go to you are le arse, there president was offering him the the highest bidder, which we are, then fucked around for ages, stoke have come from nowhere and im not really sure why

the rumour is we would have got remy and sold cole, but not grant has redecided cole is better than he thought so remy deal is dead
