He's been like that all his career. Don't be surprised by it. Still stand the Rooney situation is a bit of a disaster waiting to happen.

There was still some bitterness between Rooney and Fergie after they made up and I think they both decided they needed each other to succeed. You don't have to like the people you work with! I think with van Gael, and the fact he has been named captain has shown Rooney that the new manager has faith in him and because of that I think he will put a lid on the attitude.
In my opinion!

That must be what they're paying for the loan then, saw that figure from some other place on twitter
Weird having a two year loan deal, is he out of contract after that or something?

Spot on Cavey. He signed a five year deal in 2011. I hope he can regain his form in Serie A. Its a much slower pace so you never know!
Edit: That and Milan will probably play to his strengths, playing off the shoulder.

Genuine question, how good is blind?! Not going to pretend I've seen much of him, just know he is a utility player

United met his release fee of 14m last night. He was excellent during the WC, but his best position was wing back!

A fans view
quote: As a person who's watched him zillions of times play for Ajax, he's a very good & intelligent player with superb vision and technique. He has a great variety of passes to boot. One big weakness however... he's as slow as a big fat steaming turd. The Ajax fans will be concerned he's left their club because he's been there outstanding player the past 2 seasons. He'll certainly improve our ability to keep hold of the ball in midfield, not unlike Scholes.

He is an intelligent player, who can play anywhere along the back, the left or in the centre, but they need a hell of a lot more than just him. Especially when it looks like either Hernandez or Welbeck will be leaving.

Provided Chicarito and Kagawa don't leave before the window closes, the addition of Blind will compliment the squad nicely. That would mean 3 defenders and 2 midfielders in. Assuming Rojo gets a work permit

Well I can't comment on that until I see what he does with Rojo (should he play) and Blind (should he sign)
Evans, Jones and Smalling seem to get by provided they aren't playing together, so it remains to be seen wether the new boys can make them look good.

I like Valencia. I'm still to see Young play as a wingback.
I think of the ones you have mentioned only Cleverley will leave.

Which is a sad state of affairs, as most of your team are mid table at best. Gone is the best defence, best midfield and best attack in the league. Rooney and RVP would be top 5 attack now, the rest top 15 if you're lucky.
