Agreed. Think I said earlier in the thread if he stayed at City i'd be quite annoyed.
Johnson one wing, McClean on the other with Fletcher in the middle, not a bad attack really

It wouldn't even be a punt imo, he's a top player and he could get even better with a run of games.

We've supposedly been having talks with him for the last 6 weeks, nothing concrete though!

We've currently got a live press conference, BR said "I believe the club have worked hard and most of the paper work is done" When someone asked about Sahin. Also praised him.

Did I hear right that it was meant to be for around £5-6m?
So basically 1/2 the Jarvis fee

If true that is just
Jarvis: £10.5m
Sahin for a year: £5m + wages
World's gone mad. Johnson is decent.

Jarvis is worth around £5m imo. Think it was £7.5 up front with bonuses up to 10.5
Decent player none the less, but would of much preferred Johnson!

City supposedly offered us Johnson & money for Dagger, He's worth £10-15m to be fair, if Sunderland get him for £5-6m they have a bargain!!

As Far as I'm aware there's no loan fee, it's paying 70% of his wages that'll cost around £5m for the year. Really we hope we get that one sewn up quick now that we appear to be in the driving seat (again).

Definately, for a price that low, i'm suprised it's not someone like Everton or QPR that went in for him.
