new handle bars on my Trek, didn't use the drops. Much prefer having the brakes and gears within fingers reach
Nice whip, Willay.
What Trek is it? I am rocking the 2013 1.5 atm
I'm liking those handle bars. I am too shit to attempt to use the drops so wouldn't mind something like that.
Trek Madone 2.1
Its not about being shit/scared of the drops, it just doesn't feel comfortable and were never used.
I got these - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/profile-airwing-os-handlebar/

[Edited on 25-07-2014 by Cole]
Both as he has been a rocky dealer for a while now. So they do demo days every 6/12 months at the shop. wouldnt say it was that over priced. Rides very nicely though just over kill for my riding. When ever I go somewhere warrenting something like that I usually rent anyway.

how does one pick out a comfy seat for ones road bike?
did london to cambridge the other day, near the end my arse started to destroy itself. Are there fancy bike shops that have a range you can try? or is it a case of ordering one over the internet and sending it back?

either or really. Mates shop demos saddles as do other. Essentially same as the one you would buy but in a stupid colour and demo stamped on it
Other then that order and return as said.

I'd recommend an SDG Bel Air - 'tis a good seat
I've entered the London to Brighton off road now - looking forward to that one!

I'd just put a Bel Air on my MTB before it got stolen. Probs had my arse on it for about 30 seconds in total.
Get really good reviews for the money though.

I've had one on all my bikes now, love them. Though I'm currently sharing one between my road bike and MTB

Trying to arrange buying a carbon remedy. Collecting the bike is the only problem as I'm away for a few days this weekend with the woman, and I'm not too sure on paying a couple thousand pounds via PayPal.

looks likely that i will be buying the carbon remedy this weekend! has a few upgrades like fox float 36 160mm forks and some other bits. front chain ring is a 36, which I'm hoping will be manageable with the bike being a good bit lighter. mine is a 32 and i never need to use granny, or even up to the 36 on the back rarely these days.
