I did a track taster experience on Saturday at Calshot velodrome .... just put a review up on my blog site. Really can not recommend it highly enough, fantastic day out. Also only 25 minutes from Southampton if you fancy a little night out afterwards.

Think I might have done something to my wrist. Fell over in the shower while away and ripped the whole shower curtain down, narrowly missing twitting my head on the wall. Now to rotate it i can feel pain that radiates towards my little finger. Yesterday on the bike it was ok and its not turned into a Beadle hand so thats a bonus! Going to just have to crack on and see what happens.

Up in 5 hours to set off to pick up that carbon remedy. Taking a mate with me and we are going to ride Cannock on the way back up. I can't remember it really was ages ago when a few of us went. We may go on the freeride runs instead though.

Done the 1000 miles for the year so far, on the mtb, which isn't bad going.

thats about the only clip I've got from yesterdays ride at cannock. most of the rest of them are corrupt, dunno if its from when i had a slight crash.

seem to remember when i first went to cannock last year that this was a big deal to ride down?
anyway, personally id not be rushing back to cannock chase anytime soon. did enjoy riding the bike although i need to test it properly at bike park lakes.
one issue with the new bike, i bought it, sorry brought it from a polish guy. the brakes are backwards. must sort that as thats how i came off.

Right I've been reading this thread. When I was younger and less fat I was into bmxing and used to be quite good. I'd like to buy a decent but not too expensive mountain bike I have a cycopark on my front door. Help appreciated

a £50 special would be good enough for the cyclopark tbh depends on where else you plan to ride but I would put the money you would spend going to the cyclopark towardsa better bike or travel costs to somewhere a lot better

Thanks for the advice. I want something I can start bike riding on I don't want a full road bike as I'd like to go up the country park etc. I would think about 300 would be a base price but don't wanna go in halfords and pay 300 for a bike and it's a shitter.
