Picked up the VRS from the bodyshop today. Bumper repainted because of sodding laquer peel and a colourcoded grill to get rid of the chrome monstrosity that Skoda fitted....

It needs a clean now...

Any rattle can paint on my car that isn't quite good enough, that's the car not the rattle can btw

Wouldn't matter if a pro painted it, would be the same.

The bumper had been treated with something in the past to make the ABS look black again, first be of hot weather and it oozed back out under the paint.

Davy, why insult the people at the same event you've gone to? Bet you said non of this stuff to their actual faces whilst there? Instead come online trying to prove yourself as not caring about anything as per, yet you go in the first place.

You try too hard to pretend you don't want to fit in, just because you clearly struggle to do so.

Proper mental issues

If we didn't take the piss out of each other, then the site would be even quieter, so i don't mind.

I'm happy with rattle cans for now, I could spend loads of money like DaveyLC but haven't.

£4k spent and its £20k worth of "work"

Enthusiasts

Enthusiastic about a van! To me, if you didn't like something when you were 14-16yrs it can't suddenly become cool.

They basically want a van to go on pikey holidays, pretending to enjoy walking around some countryside seeing the same 4 or 5 types of animal all over the country and the same grass, trees and bushes.

Then get in little gangs with other van owners, because other van owners are the only people you can impress with folding beds and plastic toilets.

Reminds me of the South Park Episode where all the kids try not to fit in. So they all end up fitting in with each other, bonding about not being able to fit in
