"Oh hi, is that Ron? Ron Dennis? Ron, could you ask one of your techs to tell me all your trade secrets?"
That wouldn't be a yes either.

I can't help being an engine geek!

the nitrous to get some low end torque
Na, seriously.... Whats your plans with the nitrous? You planning on 1/4mileing it a lot? If so.... why didnt you just go for a c20let?
If its for track.... keen, i'd leaver the nitrous till next summer get some use out of the engine before you grenade it

nitrous was always on the cards for the engine, as ak says it wont be on till next year, wont be much, just a bit to giveit a little helping hand on its way to 11,000rpm.
will most likely get it fitted apart fro mthe bottle whilst its in the workshop.
the cars not a 1/4 mile car, never will be 1/4 mile does nothing for me, im crap at it no point me wasting time and money at it lol!

your really going to take this to 11,000rpm ? (if there is still power there)
Are you going to put in a soft cut limiter about 10k or 9.5k to try and make it last longer if your doing a lot of track events?
I'm sure i've seen out rev counter at 9500rpm on the skyline when Fee was passing a GT3 my fingers were crossed! and I'm not actually sure we have a rev limit in ot at the moment !

doldy, wheels are anthracite.
AK, the engine was build with 11k in mine, im nervous about it, but 10,500 will more than likely be the limit, no reason why there wont be power there, the cams have been spec'd for this engine, no off the shelf items, everything has been sourced to suit this rev range.
i will be entering the car into a sprint series, and itll be used on track days, not much road use, its will be too impracticle.
there will be a soft cut limiter on it yes, its hittign the rev limiter which can kill the engine so itll all be set up correctly. the biggest problem ill have at the moment is tjhe gear ratios.....
its a small engine not some big heavy 2.5 4 cylinder so it will rev.

Hi Broster, have seen the car knocking about on some of the other forums. Havnt had chance to read through properly. What crank are you using? Sorry if it already been mentioned.
Edit: What box are you intending to run?
(by the way its ste who's sorting your cam cover)

using a dk engineering crank keeping the standard stroke.
as for the box, surrently i have an f15 with an ATB fitted, looking for a sadev or similar to swap it for at a later dtae, just dont think the other half will take to kindly if i go and blow 6k on a gearbox right now!
looking forward to seeing the cover

not done much on it recently due to spending money and time on the house, just ordered these for the inner light cold air feeds, and a new stack fuel gauge.
