Markeaton fireworks. by Harris P, on Flickr
Wirewool by Harris P, on Flickr
To get the wirewool one as dark as that I got ladders out and covered the street light with bin liners

Any more of the Markeaton fireworks? I was tempted to go, but I can't stand the utter scum that go along to it, and I can see them from my house pretty well anyway (overlook the A38)
But forgot about them and by the time I thought "Ooo, pretty photos" It was too late and missed it all

I did take a few more but none I was happy with they were all done without my tripod so could have been better.

Not used the camera since Oulton Park so felt the need to do something
Nothing glamorous or technical.
ISO 1000 with 30sec exposure as it was practically pitch black.
Shows the thick fog and the street lights. Taken from behind a closed and dirty window.
Definition of a Q&D shot!
