De Jong is who I wanted all along...

We could get him for what, £8-10m?

He isn't the all action midfielder Vidal is but he does his job of breaking up attacks very well. Sure it was £8m being quoted. He knows how to play in the PL too so that's a bonus. Him and a CB and I'd say united have actually had a very good transfer window.

He wouldn't be a bad signing tbh. Old fashioned no nonsense CB.

Where's that from? Would be an incredible signing though. He has played up top for Dortmund in the past, but aye, he predominantly plays out on the left. As if Arsenal need any more attacking mids

Oh and Welbeck supposedly at Arsenals training ground to add to the attacking midifelders a bit more.

From "AS" apparently

To be fair to Welbeck, he's moving to get his play time up top BVB won't sell on deadline day. They do have Kagawa though I suppose!

"Arsenal have activated Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's £12.75m release clause at Schalke. (Source: Junge Welt)"

Now that would be a decent signing

I can see Welbeck becoming an instant sensation.
Then getting a minor niggle.
Which develops into an ACL injury.

Always wanted him and Schneider at United.

I know i'm harsh on Welbeck, but for me, he is nowhere near top 4 quality, not even United quality. ( )

He has no first touch, or composure, he's got a lot of pace, which gets him out of trouble quite often, and when he doesn't have to think about it, he can score the odd goal. That's about the nicest I can be about him i'm afraid

Probably a couple of years too late now, but the 2 of them together would of been great signings (Sneijder )

Been linked with him for years, would be a great signing in my opinion.
