I googled that after the film finished Apparently it was the done thing back then. Some cowboys would use nearly half a dozen horses to make one long journey. If the horse served no purpose they'd shoot them, rather then let wolves eat them alive. Basically he run it to death and they'd never recover.

Watched Monsters last night...

Pretty damn good film considering it was a 'low cost' movie. Obviously this hampered the 'special effects' but you get caught up with the relationship of the two main characters that you dont really notice the monsters.

The ending felt abit sudden.. but on reflection, it made sense.

Really liked some of the camera shots and use of different fades/zooms etc

8/10

The Adjustment Bureau - 7/10

Good idea, would have been better if the size of his actions were more severe.

Johnny English reborn. 6/10. Generally stupid film, only a 6 due to row an Atkinson. Has a very funny face.

Went to the cinema for this last night, thought it was hilarious even though it was a little cheesy and predictable. I'd go up to an 8/10

In Time - 7/10

Quite good, especially for a Justin Timberlake film

Quite a few parts of the film are predictable, e.g. the story with his mum but it's definitely worth a watch.

Amanda Seyfried looks quite fit as well

The Descendants - 6/10.

A lot of folk will probably like it, I thought it dragged like fuck personally. The daughter is smoking hot though, I spent the entire film imagining how many ways I would destroy her.
