My car is actually filthy now so the sticker is really ironic!

They should know that when you speed past them whilst giving the internationally recognised wanker signal.

Noticed the other day when I heard the car running at idle from outside that it sounded a bit odd. The yellow oil can had been coming on when I switch the engine off for a while, but that doesn't mean it's low, it just needs a small top up to get to max again.

Made some space and brought the car partly into the garage as the weather is crap.

While I was there I decided to check the anti-freeze before the cold sets in. I hadn't checked this in at least 6 months and sure enough it also needed a top up. All better now:

Luckily I had some of both products so that was a nice easy job.

Next I decided to get to the bottom of my dull rear light problem. At few people in work had mentioned it although I had no bulb out signal. Theres 2 bulbs which create a circlular rear light. As you can see, the inner bulb wasn't functioning properly. I changed all the bulbs over and it's now fixed. Must have been crap bulbs.

Thats it for now.

Next on the list will be another coat of fabric dye on the roof. Haven't been able to do it recently as weekend overtime takes priority

I also need another clear 3rd brake light as mines properly buggered now and a drivers side brake duct for the front bumper.

It will, give it time mine has cracked at both edges. Still works, just looks shite.

Pretty shitty design really. The shock from closing the boot causes it.

My old boss had a V10 R8 as a courtesy car for a few days, made me look and feel like I was going into reverse

decided to swap my centre brake light out this evening. It's been looking shoddy for a while now. It's a common problem.

Got a red one off the z4 forum for 15 quid, but when it turned up it had a small crack right down the middle. Not noticeable really, but I messaged the guy and he refunded me the monies. Result!

Got it fitted this evening and whilst it's not as nice as the clear one, at least it isn't falling apart!

Here's the clear one I bought last year. Not what you'd expect for a 50 quid BMW OEM part.

Didn't bother getting a pic of the brake light I put in as its the same as the original one.

If the oil light keeps coming on it could be because the level sensor is fucked. Very common on BM's and my dads 339 and my E36 do too!

I bet that looked fantastic

Jambo, think the rocker gasket is perished. Looks like it's seen better days. There was a black oily substance around that area.

Gave my roof another 2 coats of dye this evening. It was dark when I finished, so here's some pics of me washing it:

Quite like the red 3rd brake light. Looks nice with the orange-less rear lights in:

It looked like it had seen better days tbh.

Was a faded red, on a very dirty white car
