Bent, Arshavin, Villa (Yes laugh, i wish lol). Even so if I was a pool fan Villa has got to be about the same price and would link up well with Torres, gotta be a better signing than Keane?
Keane is proven in the EPL though, I think Arshavin & Villa would be a bit lightweight tbh.
And Bent

Funny thing is I like Liverpool, they have some great players and have actually built thier team like Utd, not like chav$ki.
Ah sorry, I forgot you are the only one with sources - although obviously mine wont be as accurate being yours tell you 3wks in advance of things actually happening

Bent better than Keane
Arse Shavin better than Keane - again he is another unknown to the PL.
Villa First you've zero chance of getting him. Secondly he'd cost atleast £20-25m, which is approx £10m more than Keane.

No Im happy about the Keane signing, a proven player in the PL who will always pop up with approx 15 goals and set up plenty more.
Great price too.

Entertaining footballer to watch too, you can have him for a couple seasons then let him finish his career at Parkhead

If the info Im getting is correct its £10m upfront, £5m in installments over a few years and £5m depending on certain conditions being met.

£10m upfront and £5m in installments - so only £15m really which Id say he is worth.
The other £5m would be depending on us winning things - which Id have no problem with paying if we actually win things

Worth £15 million in anyones book, 1 in 2 strikers are worth their weight in gold in the Premiership and he's not even a classic 'striker' more of a classy forward.

Hmmm, I wouldnt say he was worth much more than half that BUT then I highly disagree with the valuation of most players tbh! Prover goalscorer, class a wanker and a yid to boot tho

Scores approx 15 league goals a season consistantly, and over 20 in all comps.
Easily worth £15m imo.

Barry is worth a hell of a lot more than Modric to a PL team - proven quality vs a total unknown.
Yeah, I am keping up with the market, £16m for Bent was a good one
And you do get quality for cheap, we got Torres for roughly £3.5m more than you paid for Modric. We got Masch for cheaper than you got Modric.
Torres gets cheaper everyday

How do you figure that when Torres cost you £26m
You may not have paid that much but that was the effective cost of the deal, Luis Garcia or no Luis Garcia :/

£21m for Torres
£16.6m for Modric
£16.6m + £3.5m = £20.1m
So not a million miles out at all.

We paid less than £20m according to the accounts relases last month for him when taking the Garcia fee into account. Thats the fee that is making it questionable, but he went for no more than £3m.
