Was mentioned on a few forums a couple of days ago - I think it started on some dodgey blog site so not sure how reliable it is.

I never said it was a good idea!

I'm still in shock about it! Provided we sign a proper striker it could work in our favour though having him warming the bench.

Possibly a replacement for alonso or mascherano, as cosmo says though seems to be a bit unfounded, goal.com rumour

We've been linked with the roma striker a few times now, not sure what to make of him tbh

Can't really lose with owen if his wages is heavily linked to playing/scoring as is rumoured

He'll score goals for us because he'll suit how we play, just stick him in the box, but i would prefer a striker who isn't always crocked, we had saha for that

Never believe anything Goal.com says, they start off half the rumours IMO, they just fill their boards with made up stories, just so when you log on it looks like there is lots to read.

Why would they sign him?

He is neither a crock or a young player they can develop and feed to a bigger club.

So he obviously suits every team's style of play then (except Arsenal, who prefer to pass the ball rather than score - its a goal in their eyes anyway).
