Sylvian Marveuax has played in 45 games the last 2 seasons (7 less than gerrard) scoring 11 goals and 7 assists, thats the same goals per game as Steven Gerrard in the EPL in the last 2 years, in the same period, SM has had 1 yellow, compared to SG's 8.
Gerrard hits the target with every 3.4 of his shots
Marveuax hits the target every 2.5

Paper rumours that Taarabat wants a move, we could maybe use routledge as part of the deal. But unsure on him tbh.
Seen something saying he's happy to use us a "stepping stone to a really big club"
From what I've seen of him I'd rather we didn't sign him TBH
Have seen some good news this morning though - Perch apparently wants to leave

Marveuax was going to be a squad player, rumours he failed a medical may be wide of the mark but his injury record over the last 3 years, coupled with the fact he wasn't going to be a first teamer means we didn't offer him as much as Newcastle came in with. Absolutely fine with me, we need shut of players sitting on the bench getting paid a forunte

I fail to see why we are chasing another young CB when we have only just acquired Smalling & Jones who have proved themselves to be promising additions for the future, and even these 2 will struggle to displace Vidic & Rio for a couple of seasons at least.
You'd have to question where Young ohny Evans future lies too, He must be 5th/6th in the pecking order for CB now along with Brown?

Evans is dog anyway. Brown is surely off now?
Rio can't have long left surely? Vidic is 29...
IMO this is good from Fergie, he's got his CB's for the next 8 to 10 years

I think we could do with another decent left winger to create competition or atleast be backup as we were caught short this season though injurys.

Got Valencia, Nani and Young for wingers. Nani & Young can both play left and pretty sure Cleverley can play left wing if he had to even though its not his preferred position.

I'm kinda hoping the Young deal doesn't go though, he's not United quality and IMO he only looks decent when he is playing through the middle, which he wont be doing for United.
Although i would be interested to see how Cleverley does on the wing as he has alot of promise, I can see Welbeck being used as a winger too though this coming season thinking about it too.

I think he'll be better than you think. And he's versatile. Will be handy to have in the squad.
Cleverley is better in midfield

Well if it goes through i obviously hope your right, atleast if he does come to us he can take a decent corner as Nani/Valencia aren't the best.

I think Rio is on his last legs tbh. Can see a bit of rotation at CB for united.

I know Rio has had a bit of a bad time the last couple of seasons through injury but he looked amazing since his recovery, I dont think we should write him off too quickly.
There will undoubtedly be alot of rotation at CB though you don't spend £28m on 2 young players then leave them to languish on the bench, we're not City.

No doubt he'll end up costing £23.5m, or something.
