I do wonder if the card ratings are also mixed with there dx level.
For example you could have a dx9 system, like windows xp and get like 50fps for example but because it's not dx11 they are saying the card isn't even useable.

I have a 6 core running 3.2ghz, 4gb ddr3 rambo @ 1333mhz but a hd 5670, which is a decent card but not great, I wouldn't expect me to have to run the game on the minimum settings just to get a few fps.

hmm.. once the beta comes out it will give you an idea. they have said if you can run bfbc2 ok then you wont have to worry. i tested mine out at 1920x1080 everything max 32fsaa and 16asf with hsbo thing enabled running 160fps in the middle of battle and 200+ looking at the sky. this is while nothing is overclocked so im not too worried atm.

beta will answer a lot of doubt that people have, Chris you'll run it fine.

Never played a battlefield game before littl bit worried tbh as the maps are apparently massive :/

So surely it's alot off running around and not actually seeing any one ?

Vehicles, up to 64 players on PC so you'll always see action. The action usually centres around certain points of the map anyway.
