no problem. Would be good to know for future reference.

Just got back from a trip over to lochgoilhead via the rest and be thankful. What an amazing road! Scenery is beautiful and my heart was pounding all the way

Still in scotland, leaving for home tomorrow.

Got some pics but my photobucket isn't letting me log in, so will upload them later.

Originally we were coming up for the missus' mums birthday. Then she decided to go to mexico so rather than cancel it, we drove up and used their caravan and drove around to different places.

Motor looks great on them roads! Proper missing my car while out here.
You should buy them m seats that are forsale on z4forum. The ones that have been badly dyed. I recon it could strip off easily and then have a nice set of grey leathers. Think they would look good with our colour.
Or dye them red

Cheers gav. It was amazing to drive on them. For about 10 miles I was the only vehicle on beautiful flat tarmac with no potholes, with beautiful scenery either side of me. I didn't go fast, just admired my surroundings.

Makes a big change from driving in congested and concrete filled essex

Currently just outside manchester visiting a friend. The drive back through carlisle/cumbria on the mostly empty motorway was a joy. Roof had to go up after 50 miles though as the wind was mental

We fair could have met up if you went Manchester, only 30ish miles from me.
I need a drive upto Scotland, I'm yet to drive that far north, I was meant to last year but had to cancel at the last minute. Journey wouldn't have been as fun in a corsa tho

Some of them are mental usually range rovers and executive barges that weren't happy doing 50mph on the beautiful roads, instead choosing to perform idiotic overtakes. Couldn't believe it.

on the way home last night, the further south I got, the worse the driving of other people became. long stretches of motorway with 1 car sitting in the middle lane and people sitting right next to you so you couldn't pull out to overtake lorries etc. This wasn't a problem on the stretch between glasgow and manchester. weird.

Cheers. I do love it, but i'm also growing tired of the firm ride and worrying about every bump in the road.

Can't fault it. It done over 1000 miles effortlessly. The only blip was a 'check engine' light immulinating on the dash on the drive up, which went out on it's own the next day.

I am getting older though and am thinking a barge with power could well be the way forward. Also love the roof but i'm not keen on 4 seat drop tops due to the lack of wind deflector, so tintop for sure next.

Was about to say it's the 19s not the springs. Standard springs ain't the best to have either
