He's a superb driver, but F1 is about race-craft and experience and he doesn't have enough years on him yet IMO.
Good luck to him and I hope he proves me wrong.

Is he going to be another Paul Di Resta??
Can still mind of them bigging him up saying he will be the next big thing in F1 and what not.

Anyone see the driver salaries posted on pistonheads?
http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=30675
Win bonuses, image rights etc aside, I was gobsmacked at just how little Ricciardo earns. He'll be getting a healthy pay rise next year.

No wonder Mclaren want rid, Jenson's had their pants down, i can see why Ron was wanting a bit more value for money from him
Hes lucky he landed the jackpot with Brawn and "won" that title. Must have earned him an extra £20m in salary over the years

Private business though.
Did make me laugh when I saw people on Facebook crying because the army blokes get nothing compared to f1 drivers or footballers.
Always that same shitty pointless argument everytime sportspersons salaries get brought up.

It is but it's still an interesting debate/thought nonetheless and you can't really have much argument about it as it is quite ludicrous these heinous amounts sport stars get. Not that I'd complain if it was me, mind

That appears to be an odd one. Must be something to do with sponsorship as he lives in Belgium.

I thinka bit of pressure is showing in LH. Will no doubt be a cracking race tomorrow though.

Actually not too displeased. For the first time in a while we're set up for a proper Lewis/Nico battle.
And anyway, its always more fun when the faster guy is behind...
Got a few mates who are going to the race tomorrow, proper jealous

Let's just hope that neither Merc driver has any reliability issues, as it would be nice to see a proper battle at this circuit.
I wouldn't be too upset if Rosberg's engine blew though

Same hete, not too disheartened with that.
Lewis said before practice that P2 can be the better place to start for the run up through eau rouge. We shall see.
At least he only has to pass 1 car now and not 21

Just to put into context, it seems Lewis' heat management glazed the material - so not an excuse, just an explaination.
Hoping for a stonker tomorrow, I love Spa so much - really cool track, I'd go back tomorrow if it wasn't 10 hours away
