thats what i could'nt work out, i could'nt be bothed to go and check engine to see if the boxs sit further back or not

Did you have the car with you?

Would only take a few minutes to take the brace off mine and offer it up to yours.

Obviously it would be a few minutes of YOUR time as I'd be in the car keeping warm...

yes (white b, blask sxi rims etc) but the engine is at home so wud'nt have been much use

good point lol....
your engine looks very similer to joffs, but yours is 1.4 and his is a 1.6

yeah they have the same heads so look identical, only diff to look at is his has a strut brace.

very very similar engines, bore and stroke obviously diffrent and a few other things

Oh, yours was the white one, realy liked that, subtle, but needed lowering (more) if its not lowered allready.

Haha, no that pic was also taken about 2 years ago - so the engine bay's probably a lot worse than Broster's
