The car had been through a LOT of changes since i've been around. MOre bumpers and sets of wheels than i can remember.

ITs such a shame to see this car like this, esp with what was goign to be done.

Glad to see there the usual wankers going on though.

Roll on next project eh Bradders

Blimey cant belive this has happend only a few weeks ago we all saw it down southend

sorry to hear about it brad, but like many have said ur wernt hurt too bad and your still walking

Gutted to see the car go but on the bright side new beginings and all that malarky

Is a serious warning to all big rimmed corsa's goin around seeing as this happend to Griglett when he shafted the gear box and driveshaft on his 18 inched corsa

Hope your all good brad and lookinforwards to seeing the new corsa

Any1 with a corsa c on 17's will know how much control u DONT have on a bumpy road! I have had near misses with many kerbs. Couldnt imagine 18's or 19's.

Everyone going to switch to 8 x 14" deep dish euro beauties now then?

So what part snapped, track control rod...?

Ive heard a lot from Rally peeps that the bottom balljoint should be upgraded if abused but never the track control rod/end? Had it corroded matey? Also what suspension was you using, was it VERY hard? Sorry for all this but if it can help us learn and save others....

it was a spax adjustable damping kit, and was set a few clicks from hard all round, as it would rub over every bump other wise!!

Cheers matey, I think the front spax is ONLY rebound adjustable so wouldnt make THAT much diffo. I swear I saw your motor waaay back, a couple of years ago. You passed me going along the Lady Bay Bridge (A52) in Nottingham. Was a LONG time ago though...

Very smart motor, died whilst at its peak (best way to go as always get remembered well). Try and put it to rest buddy and get thinking towards the new one...
