They are slower, not specced as good... no doubting they are excellent but they are not as good as CTRs/Leons etc

Clio Cup's are faster than CTR's arent they?? Also they ARE considerably cheaper. Clio Cup's brand new cost £14,000 if not less. CTR's if i'm not mistaken cost in the region of £16,000. Thats quite a bit cheaper in my eyes.

The Cup weighs alot less though and has very similar stats. I reckon the Cup would win.

on the roads the CTR might have a slight advantage, nothing to write home about.
down the qtr mile a decent driver in a Clio Cup would see a CTR off
is there a 182 cup?
Would probably be capable of 14.5 second qtrs or less

Cup arent about gadgets. You dont buy a Cup if you want materialistic gadgets like leccy windows.

Clio Cups do mid 14s, Type-Rs do 15-16sec.

The good thing about Cups are they need no work doing to them. You could strip a CTR out and it may well wipe the floor with them but thats defeating the object. STD for STD the Cup IS quicker.
There is a 172 round MK with 2 recliners in the front, no rear seats, white roll cage (not half cage either), and Toora wheels. Its MINT and very very quick. Plays with V6 Clios
