I dont give a crap that 'emo' is different to 'screamo' or 'elmo'

Why have so many labels..... ??? If you like the music, hairy muff..... why do you have to have a label too...

When i was your age it was all Indie Kids and grunge...

then skaters kids n shit..

now its emu's and screamo's

WHAT ARE YOU THIS WEEK? its all just trends

PS....i hate RNB, hip hop

Totally agree with you..... & why is it that the people that label themselves as 'goths' become vegans,anti-fur,anti-labels,anti-anti & think that they are 'individual' & the rest of us are 'labelers'! PHEW... im confused!

The mud club was class (for a laugh)..... wierdos all in black leather, goth girls skulking in the corners.... It was like a freak show

You'll find that the "emo" kids (who are now all hardcore kids if you haven't noticed) will ALWAYS deny the fact they ever listened to anything else, and/or ever will listen to anything else.

They'll deny to the death that:

1 year ago: They listened to "Emo"
2 years ago: They were listening to Ska.
3 years ago: Greenday, Blink, Lit....
4 years ago: Nirvana, Korn, Slipknot....

Its all about being too insecure to be yourself and its all about fitting in.

Personally, I STILL listen to Blink, Capdown, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Alkaline Trio, Hot Water Music, New Found Glory, Sum41. I couldn't give a fuck what that makes me

And as far as hardcore's concerned - look beyond the lack of music ability and listen to the words. I've never come across ANYTHING as positive and as lifestyle changing.

even that has a name - posercore

i still listen to wut i listened to 5,6,7 years ago... but i also branch out to a lot of the new stuff that is coming out.. i dont limit myself to anything.

i dont like giving myself a title.. especially not by wut i wear or wut music i listen too.. im not emo, or hardcore, or indie, or anything, im ME - that includes all of me - not just the image i put out...

I spose as I hate all this kinda music I can't really have a "valid" input, but I really don't see why everyone has a label, even the "townies" get labeled depending on what they like... that would make me a Junglist, but thats more of a movement than a label... whatever :\

My parents played me Led Zepplin when I was in my mother's womb.

God bless them.
