I cannot believe this!

You are in effect stealing someones mobile phone. You feel this guy deserves to have his phone taken for being abit careless of his posessions?

I bet any other person on that bus would have returned the phone, so it is quite unlucky that you happened to find it!

You could show a sign of decency and maybe return it, i'm sure he'd be grateful for it. And maybe you'd then know how good it is to feel when you've done the right thing, to help someone else and not yourself.

Sick.
I hope you've had a merry christmas

Maybe I would have kept a phone I found somewhere where no-one else was around and I couldn't find a home number or anything on the phone but if I saw someone leave it on a bus and saw them bang on the window to get the bus to stop and you also knew of them therefore could get in contact then I wouldn't keep it no.

I like to call these things I have morals

Two weeks ago my mum's old mobile packed up, so I gave her my old Nokia as I'd recently upgraded, I got it unlocked etc so whe could use her sim card in it - the very next day she went to Sainsburys to do some shopping and had her bag stolen, credit cards, car/house keys etc etc and the phone I had just given her - this upset her the most as it was a gift from me, I told her not to worry as she'll get a replacement through the insurance etc etc but she was still gutted about it - and still is.

How do you know that this phone, regardless of how shit you consider it, wasn't a present to him for a special occasion or from a special person? And that's not to mention all the information he had on that phone - contacts, important texts etc etc

You've said it's worth next to nothing and you probably won't even use it, so why not just give it back?

i used to be a thief a few years ago when i was college, and then i got caught and cautioned, since then i have not done it, well apart from picking up phones when i see them lying around.
