I have to be honest, I love the majority of the other cars you've built but not a fan of this one.
I totally respect the work you've put into it (especially after seeing the state it started in) but it just looks wrong and doesn't work IMO.

i totally agree the car just dont quite work but i am happy when i compare it to how it was!!!!
paint peeling off and the BRUSH PAINTED door and boot shuts were the best bits, complete with big drips in door shuts!!
also the matt finish cellulose paint job....... not with metal flake but dirt flake instead!!! u could litterly pick the paint off it also round window seals!!! sooo much beta now

Always like to see your work.. personally dont like the car itself though..
One thing I worry about is the way you simply spray headlights. I've tinted a few sets of lights and you get a much better look by removing the glass and painting everything inside apart fromt he reflector... It looks better and is legal..

i have never been able to take a light apart like u say, the lights i do are always sealed units so not made to be taken apart!! also front lights i have only smoked slightly, 2 coats of laquer and black mix! rears i put more on but they generally cope with being smoked beta!!!
i totally agree your method is beta tho

looks really good its just the roof vent (thats anot a vent) that I can not get my head a round.
Would look better with a hole and mesh in, but a lot better without it completely..
