head has now at the engineering shop having valve seats recut and a skim, so will be ready soon

cylinder head skimmed 15thal

valve seats recut and shortened to 1mm


and rear white ARB bought off Mr. Fro
and will be fitted soon

rear ARB fitted - wow! handles even better

just needs a lower strut then thats it until its caged!!!

cubic capacity



cylinder head fully rebuild, all valves lapped in (took long enough) with all caps and spring now attached, hydraulic lifters in. Ready to be bolted onto cylinder head this weekend

basically you work out the volume of the combustion chambers, make sure they are all the same etc, then you use this inf to help work out your compression ratio so you can get the desied results, 11.5:1 on this maybe

tigra scuttle fitted

nope, tbh these not much need, the same amount of material has been taken out on each cylinder to such a mininal difference its not worth checking

remove exhaust system
remove tigra scuttle
remove depo lights
remove mhw rear lights
remove 2.0 brakes
remove front strut brace
remove rear arb
remove catch tank
remove delocked door handle
remove bucket seats

then sold

lightened flywheel removed

and to add to the disappiontment got beaten by a corsa d while of for a drive

all that left is to remove the bucket seats, then will be sold
