Had mine out for 100 miles under 4000 rpm which took some doing, it feels flat under 3500 but we should iron some of that out when its mapped on Thursday/Friday.

If all goes well when its mapped will do another 100 mile over 7000 rpm then get it on some rollers to see what we have.

Two things i have noticed it pulls much harder at 4k and the 90 trumpets sound loud as fook

New engine bay finished had it live mapped yesterday and very happy with how it drives going on rollers on Monday to finish it off and get a bhp figure.

Warren just a note i had to get 10mm spacers made as the ITG filter base plate was touching the fuel rail apart from that its no problem.

Part number for filter is JC50 S 125
When you get filter you will be able to see if the base plate clears or not.
Its a Bill Falconer engine and he reckons i should see around 200 but i am not looking for peak power more torque and driveability for rallies.

The last engine was good for what it was, put otgether with a bit of hope & luck. This one is a proper motor great spread of power and lots of punch out of the corners.

Well did first event and won 1600 class but next one at Croft on 18th Jan will be interesting as there are a few top 1600 crews out.

All going well the next event will be North West stages in Blackpool 20th Feb.

As for updates the car will remain pretty much as it is apart from a dash mod with an 8k rev counter.

Been a little while since ive updated on the car, done four events two at Croft went pretty well ,one at Blackpool lost a wheel at Weeton at around 80mph then had a trip to Crail in Scotland finished 20th overall and 3rd in class. Yesterday had a run out at Ingilston near Edinburgh finished 14th overall and 2nd in class to a 240bhp MK2 Escort.
Engines going mint it just revs for fun and plenty power low down, last year there were a few beating me in the class were now beating them :-)

Heres a link to incar stage 4 not exciting to watch compared to WRC but its hellish quick when your in the car, the pic jumps a few times dont why but see what you think.
